    FAQ

    Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The pages are turned into pictures inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your PDF never reaches our server.

JPG or PNG: which should I choose?

JPG makes much smaller files and is right for most uses: WhatsApp, Facebook, email and online forms. PNG keeps every pixel sharp, which is better for pages with small text, line drawings or when you'll edit the picture, but the files are bigger.

Which resolution (DPI) should I use?

150 DPI is clear on phones and computers and fine for most forms. 300 DPI is for printing or zooming into small text; an A4 page becomes 2480 × 3508 px. 72 DPI gives small, quick images for previews.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Tap the pages you don't need to deselect them, press “None” and tap the ones you want, or type a list such as “1-3, 5, 8-” (8- means page 8 to the end).

How do I get all the images at once?

When there's more than one page, “Download all (ZIP)” saves every image in one ZIP file. Phones and computers open ZIP files directly. Each picture also has its own download button.

Will the images keep the PDF's password?

No. If you open a protected PDF with its password, the pictures you save are normal image files without a password, so keep them somewhere safe if the document is private.
