FAQ
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is resized inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. It never reaches our server, so it's safe for private documents.
How do I change a Letter or Legal PDF to A4?
Choose “A4” as the paper size and keep “Fit”. Each page's content is scaled to fit A4 with nothing cut off, so it prints correctly on A4 paper in Bangladesh.
What is the difference between Fit, Fill and Actual size?
Fit shrinks or grows the content so all of it shows; there may be white space at the sides. Fill makes the content cover the whole page, so a little may be cut from the edges. Actual size doesn't scale at all and centres the content, which is useful to add white space around a page.
Will the text stay sharp?
Yes. The content is scaled as it is, not turned into a picture, so text stays sharp and selectable and links keep working. The file size stays about the same.
What does “Auto” orientation do?
Each page keeps its own direction: tall pages get a portrait page and wide pages a landscape page. Choose Portrait or Landscape to make every page the same way round.
Can I resize a password-protected PDF?
Yes, if you know the password. Type it when asked. The resized PDF is saved without the password.
