Flatten Image

Flatten transparent PNG, WEBP or GIF images onto white or any colour so they print and upload correctly, and save them as JPG or PNG, many at once.

Fill colour

Save as

JPG is smaller and is accepted everywhere. PNG keeps sharp edges and text perfect. Either way the result has no transparency left.

    How to use

    1. 1Choose your transparent images (PNG, WEBP, GIF or SVG) or drag them in. You can add many at once.
    2. 2Pick the fill colour: white, black, grey, cream or any colour you like.
    3. 3Check the preview. “Before” shows the see-through parts on a checkerboard; “After” shows them filled.
    4. 4Choose JPG or PNG, then download each image or all of them as a ZIP file.

    FAQ

    What does “flatten” mean?

A transparent image has see-through parts, shown as a checkerboard in editing apps. Flattening fills those parts with a solid colour, so the image looks the same everywhere: in print, in Word, on forms and on websites that would otherwise show them black or grey.

Why does my transparent logo look black after uploading?

Many websites, forms and apps can't show transparency and fill it with black. Flatten the logo onto white (or your background colour) first and upload that copy instead.

    Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your images never leave your device.

Should I save as JPG or PNG?

JPG gives a smaller file and is accepted everywhere, which is best for photos and online forms. PNG keeps sharp edges and small text perfectly, which is better for logos and screenshots. Both come out with no transparency left.

Will the size or quality change?

The width and height stay exactly the same. PNG keeps every pixel; JPG uses the quality slider, and 90 or more looks the same as the original. Soft, half-transparent edges are blended smoothly into the new colour.
