Image Resizer & Compressor
Resize and compress many photos at once to a set width or file size in KB, as WEBP, JPG or PNG, for online forms, Facebook posts and previews.
Dimensions
Dimensions stay the same; images are only compressed.
Format and file size
PNG is lossless, so quality doesn't apply. To shrink the file, reduce the dimensions, use “Under a set KB” or choose JPG/WEBP.
Finds the best quality for each image; if that isn't enough, it reduces the dimensions slightly. To be safe, 1 KB counts as 1000 bytes.
Metadata inside the image (GPS location, camera details) is removed. Transparent areas become white in JPG.
How to use
- 1Choose or drag in one image, or many at once.
- 2Set the dimensions in pixels or percent, or pick a preset (form photo, signature, Facebook).
- 3Choose a format (JPG/WEBP/PNG) and a quality or maximum KB. Each image is processed straight away.
- 4Download images one by one, or press “Download all (ZIP)”.
FAQ
How do I get a photo under 100 KB for an online form?
Choose “Under a set KB” and enter 100, or press the “Form photo 300×300 · ≤100KB” preset. The tool finds the best quality for each image that stays within the limit; it counts 1 KB as 1000 bytes, so the file passes any form.
WEBP, JPG or PNG: which should I choose?
WEBP is the smallest for websites and Facebook. Government and job application forms usually ask for JPG. PNG is best for logos or images with a transparent background, but the files are larger.
Will the image quality get worse?
At quality 75–85 the difference is barely visible, yet phone photos become 80–90% smaller. If you need a very small KB size the quality will drop a little; reduce the dimensions a bit as well.
How many images can I add at once?
There is no limit. Images are processed one at a time, so even large phone photos won't freeze your phone.
Do my images go to a server? Is location data kept?
No, everything happens in your browser. The new files contain no camera metadata or GPS location, so they are safe to share online.
