FAQ
What is A4 size in pixels?
At 300 DPI, A4 (210 × 297 mm) is 2480 × 3508 pixels. With 3 mm of bleed on each side, the canvas is 2551 × 3579 pixels.
What DPI do I need for a banner or flex?
Flex banners are seen from a distance, so 72–100 DPI is enough. A 3 × 6 ft banner at 72 DPI is 5184 × 2592 pixels. At 300 DPI the file gets needlessly huge and can be hard to open on the press computer.
What size is a business card in pixels?
The standard business card in Bangladesh is 3.5 × 2 inches, which is 1050 × 600 pixels at 300 DPI. Design at 1121 × 671 pixels to include 3 mm of bleed, and keep text at least 5 mm inside the cut line.
What is bleed and why do I need it?
Bleed is background that extends past the cut line (usually 3 mm). If the paper is cut slightly off, no white edge shows. Add bleed to cards, leaflets, posters and calendars; flex banners usually don't need it.
Can I print a photo from Facebook on a poster?
A 1080 × 1080 pixel photo prints at only 3.6 × 3.6 inches at 300 DPI. At 150 DPI it stretches to 7.2 inches; any bigger and it will look blurry. Check your own photo in the "Largest print size" section below.
