Your photo is never uploaded — everything happens in your browser. The AI model is saved after the first run, so next time is faster.
Getting the AI ready…
How to use
- 1Pick the photo type: “Any photo” for products, logos and everything else, or the faster “People” mode for portraits and passport photos.
- 2Choose a photo, drag it in, or paste it with Ctrl+V. The first run downloads the AI model, so it takes a little longer; after that it only takes seconds.
- 3Pick a background: transparent, white, passport blue, any color, your own image, or a blurred version of the original. Smooth the edges or use the touch-up brush if needed.
- 4Turn on “Crop to subject” to trim empty space, then download a full-resolution PNG (transparent), JPG or WEBP.
FAQ
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your phone or computer's browser — your photo never leaves your device. Only the AI model (not your photo) is downloaded from the internet the first time, and your browser keeps it for next time.
Is it really free? Is there a watermark?
Yes, it is completely free — no login, no watermark and no limit on the number of photos. You can download at full resolution (up to 4000 pixels on the longest side).
Why is the first run slow?
The first time, the AI model has to download — about 12 MB in “People” mode and about 95 MB in “Any photo” mode. The browser keeps it, so it doesn't download again. If you're on mobile data, it's best to do the first run on Wi-Fi.
Which format should I use for a transparent background?
Use PNG — JPG can't store transparency, so the background turns white. A transparent PNG is best for placing the cut-out in Photoshop, Canva or a poster design. If you add a colored background, JPG gives a smaller file.
How do I make a passport or job-application photo background white or blue?
Use “People” mode, choose white or passport blue as the background and download a JPG. Then use our passport photo tool to size it to 40 × 50 mm and print several copies on one sheet.
The hair or some parts were not cut out properly — what can I do?
First try the other mode. Then open “Touch-up”: use the Erase brush to rub out leftover background and the Restore brush to bring back parts that were removed by mistake. If the edge looks rough, increase “Smooth”; if there is a faint halo, increase “Hard edge”.
