This only counts birthdays; it doesn't apply any particular rule. Circulars word limits differently (for example “below 30 years” or “not more than 30 years”), may count age on a different date, and some allow extra years for certain groups. Always read the circular itself.
How to use

- 2The “Age on” date starts on today's date in Bangladesh. Change it to find the age on any other date, such as an exam or admission date.
- 3Read the exact age in years, months and days, the same age in total months, weeks and days, the weekday you were born and the countdown to the next birthday. Switch to Bangla digits or copy the result if you need it.
- 4For a job or admission notice, use “Age limit check”: enter the limit (for example 30) and the date the notice names to see whether the person is under it, and which birth dates qualify.
FAQ
How is the exact age counted?
Whole years and months are counted from the date of birth, then the remaining days. If a month is shorter than the birth day (for example someone born on 31 January), the month is complete on the last day of the shorter month, so 31 January to 28 February 2023 is exactly 1 month.
What if I was born on 29 February?
In years without 29 February, this calculator counts your birthday on 28 February, so you complete each year of age on 28 February. Some people celebrate on 1 March instead, and some rules count it that way, so check if a form or authority uses a different convention.
Can I check the age limit for a government job circular?
Yes. Enter the age limit and the date the circular names (often the date of the circular or the last date to apply). The tool tells you whether the person is under that age on that date and the exact age. It only counts birthdays: circulars word their limits differently and some allow extra years for certain groups, so always read the circular itself.
Which date does “today” use?
Today's date in Bangladesh (Asia/Dhaka time), even if your phone is set to another time zone. You can change the “Age on” date to any past or future date.
Can I see the result in Bangla digits?
