Are these Bangla fonts free for commercial work?
Yes. All of these fonts come from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License, so you can use them in posters, logos, banners, videos and websites, even for paid client work.
How do I install a font on my computer?
Tap “Get font”, then press “Get font” and “Download all” on Google Fonts. Unzip the file, right-click the .ttf file and choose Install (Windows) or double-click it and press Install Font (Mac). Restart Photoshop or Illustrator to see it.
Why does my Bangla text break when I use SutonnyMJ?
SutonnyMJ and other Bijoy fonts are ANSI fonts, not Unicode. They only work with the Bijoy keyboard, and the text breaks on Facebook, websites and phones. Use a Unicode font from this list, and convert old Bijoy text with our Bijoy to Unicode tool.
Which Bangla font is best for body text and which for headings?
For long text, Hind Siliguri, Noto Sans Bengali and Noto Serif Bengali are very easy to read. For posters and headings, try Baloo Da 2, Atma, Alkatra or Galada.
Why do some fonts not get bolder when I choose Bold?
Tiro Bangla and Galada come in Regular only, so their cards show “Regular only”. Every other font here has a real Bold.
Do joined letters (যুক্তবর্ণ) show correctly?
Yes, these are Unicode fonts with full Bangla shaping. Tap the “Letters & conjuncts” sample to check conjuncts like ক্ষ, ন্ত্র and স্ত্র in every font.
