How to use
- 1Choose the memo type (A5 cash memo, A4 invoice or 80 mm thermal receipt) and the document language (English or Bangla).
- 2Enter your shop's name, address, phone and (optionally) logo once. They're added to every memo after that automatically.
- 3Enter the customer's name and mobile, then each item's description, quantity and rate. Add a discount or advance and the amount due and the total in words are worked out instantly.
- 4Tap "Print / PDF". For the next customer, tap "New memo": the memo number goes up by one and your shop details stay.
FAQ
How do I send a cash memo as a PDF on WhatsApp?
Tap "Print / PDF", then in the print window choose "Save as PDF" instead of a printer and save it. Send the PDF to your customer on WhatsApp or Messenger. On a phone, Chrome's menu › Share › Print also makes a PDF.
Can I print receipts on a thermal (POS) printer?
Yes. Choose "80 mm receipt"; the paper height adjusts to the content automatically. In the print window, pick your thermal printer, set margins to "None" or default and keep the scale at 100%.
How does the memo number go up?
When you print or tap "New memo", the current number counts as used and the next memo starts one higher. You can type any number into the memo no. box yourself, and the count continues from there.
How are the advance and amount due calculated?
All line amounts are added for the subtotal, the discount is taken off for the total, and the advance is taken off the total to get the amount due. The "In words" line shows the total in words, for example "Taka One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Only", or in Bangla words when the document language is set to Bangla.
Where are my shop details and memos kept?
Everything is saved only in this browser (localStorage); nothing goes to our server. The current memo isn't lost when you close the page, but to keep a record, save each memo as a PDF.
