Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The video is processed by your own browser, on your phone or computer, with a free video engine (ffmpeg). It never reaches our server, so private and family videos stay private.
My phone video plays sideways. Which way should I turn it?
Look at the result preview and choose the rotation that makes it upright. If people's heads point left, choose “90° right”; if they point right, choose “90° left”.
How do I fix a mirrored selfie video?
Tick “Flip horizontally (mirror)” and choose “No rotation”. Text in the video will read the right way round again.
Does rotating reduce the quality?
The video is re-encoded at high quality so the rotation works in every player, and the difference is very hard to see. The sound is copied unchanged.
Will the rotated video play correctly everywhere?
Yes. The picture itself is turned, not just a hidden rotation flag, so WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and every player show it the right way up.
