Download100% private: the video is processed by your own browser and never uploaded. The first time, your browser downloads the free video engine (about 9 MB, only once). Long or HD videos take a while on phones — keep this page open until it finishes.

FAQ
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The video is processed by your own browser, on your phone or computer, with a free video engine (ffmpeg). It never reaches our server, so private and family videos stay private.
How do I make the GIF smaller?
Make it shorter, choose a smaller size (320 px) and fewer frames per second (8 or 10). GIFs grow quickly: every extra second adds frames.
Why do the colours look a little different?
A GIF can only use 256 colours. The tool picks the best 256 colours for your clip, which keeps it close to the original.
Can I make the GIF play only once?
Yes. Untick “Loop forever” and the GIF stops on its last frame.
Where can I use the GIF?
Anywhere that shows GIFs: WhatsApp, Facebook comments, websites, emails and presentations. For long clips a short MP4 is much smaller, so consider the Trim / Cut Video tool instead.
